From UK-based film portal HeyUGuys comes this billboard image posted above from TRON: LEGACY, as well as a slew of images (including costumes and design-developmentals for Light Cycles) whose coverage has been sorely lacking of late, on this humble little blog of mine. But never the matter, here's a chance to see them all in one single go, innit? (Ahem)
As deliciously-designy as all the images (and trailers) have shown, it either could be a revolutionary celluloid trippy-trip-to-come, or turn into a collection of sequential images of basically the same tone and darkened aesthetics, heightened perhaps by the fluro-techno-neons and the soundtrack from Daftpunk. I pray to the Neon-Gawds it will be the former.

Sexy, smexy, cyber-sexy be the newest (official) Trailer for TRON Legacy [tagged] ~ currently viewable in high-res via www.program-glitch-esc.net ~ featuring real world to game-world settings and scenarios, characters and a low-humming soundtrack (which I have no idea if it be Daft Punk's, since no one credits film trailers with these things). And darnnit this would absolutely rock in 3-D, IMHO!
And oh yeah, please marry me Olivia Wilde? (aka smexy-femme lounging on the couch / aka "Quorra") ... peep below "enhanced" screengrabs (aka "photoshop-brightened"), because I sure do heart a clear-screengrab :)

Courtesy of Francesco of Hobbymedia.it, we get a headsup of the Light Cycle from Tron: Legacy [tagged] reproduced in 1/1 scale; seen on display at the "Spin Master Toy Show 2010"! First time a replica was on display was at 2009's SDCC [blogged]. No doubt toy-versions of this would be produced, just hope it'll rock as hard as Kaneda's bike from Akira by Project BM!
Synopsis: TRON: LEGACY is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Quorra (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
"Tron Legacy" is due out in theatres on December 17, 2010.

Peep the TRON LEGACY trailer which debut at SDCC (a, uncompleted version was previewed at SDCC 2008). The viral campaign "Flynn Lives" (www.flynnlives.com) manifested itself at SDCC with the "opening" of Flynn's Arcade, which included the reveal of a life-sized Light Cycle (*gasp*).
"A virtual-world worker looks to take down the Master Control Program" = The sequel to Disney's 80's cult hit TRON - Tron Legacy is directed by Joseph Kosinski, and stars Olivia Wilde, John Hurt, Jeff Bridges, with music/score by Daftpunk! Tron Legacy releases 2010.
